Another minor earthquake hits Plainfield area

PLAINFIELD – Weston Observatory at Boston College confirmed an earthquake in the same area as the ones last month.

Plainfield police confirmed calls came in about the tremor.

Weston Observatory at Boston College confirmed the seismic activity, saying the shock was between 1.5 and 2.0 on the Richter scale.

The Plainfield area was plagued with a series of earthquakes in January.
