CORNWALL–An arrest has been made in relation to the seizure of goats from a Cornwall farm.

Sources tell Fox CT that Tara Bryson of the Butterfield Farm is out on bond after being arrested on 63 counts of animal cruelty. There is also an outstanding arrest warrant for her partner, Michael Hearl.

The sources say both Bryson and Hearl agreed to release the ownership of the goats, which are in the care of the state since last month, when the Department of Agriculture seized dozens of goats from the barn that Butterfield rented after several inspections revealed dead, dying and starving goats lying in their own feces.
