BOSTON — Testimony resumes today in the trial of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
On Wednesday, jurors heard heartbreaking testimony from victims and the watched graphic videos of blown-off limbs, bloody sidewalks and chaos after the 2013 attack.
One woman, Karen Rand McWatters, described holding the hand of her friend Krystle Campbell as Campbell died on the pavement. McWatters lost her left leg.
Survivor Rebekah Gregory DiMartino posted a letter to Tsarnaev on Facebook after seeing him in court for the first time. It’s received thousands of likes, shares, and comments.
Jeff Bauman, one of the more outspoken survivors, is expected to take the stand today. He helped the FBI identify the Tsarnaev brothers soon after the bombing.
