HARTFORD - The Hartford St. Patrick's Day parade on Saturday is a 44-year-old tradition in that celebrates Irish culture and honors those Irish-Americans who have the capital area their home. It also honors those who have made a positive impact on the community. The parade is also an economic boost for Hartford, bringing more than 60,000 people into the city.
