NEW LONDON–A defense attorney is now on the other side of the law.
Vincent Fazzone, a lawyer who focuses on criminal defense, specifically DUIs, was appearing at the GA 10 courthouse located at 70 Huntington St. when he dropped a baggie with marijuana in it around 2p.m.
The baggie had about two ounces of a green, leafy, plant-like substance according to police.
He was charged with possession of less than four ounces of cannabis. This was his first offense.
Fazzone was cited for the infraction.
