WEST HARTFORD--It's the end of an era, and the beginning of a new one, at the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford.

Fox CT's Jenn Bernstein spoke on set with the school’s incoming president, Dr. Rhona Free, on Tuesday. The university named their new leader after current president, Dr. Pamela Trotman Reid, announced her retirement.

Free comes from Eastern Connecticut State University, where she spent 25 years as an educator and eight as an administrator.
