WILLINGTON–A fatal car accident closed down part of Route 32 in Willington around 5:30 p.m.
The road is closed between Fisher Hill Road and Adamec Road. As of 10:30 p.m. police said they expected the road to be closed for several more hours as they investigate the crash. Police also said the road would remain closed because a utility pole needed to be replaced.
According to State Police it was a single-car accident.
According to Eversource, 244 people in town were without power right after the accident, but as of 10:30 p.m. only three people remained without power.
