PLAINFIELD- Police are searching for two women involved in an overnight home invasion in the Moosup Village of Plainfield.
Police said a female victim heard a knock on the door around midnight at her on Pond Hill Road. When she went to answer the door two suspects entered. The victim told police that one of the suspects was holding her down while the other suspect stole items inside the home.
The victim has minor injuries but refused treatment.
Police deployed a K9 unit to help locate the suspect but was unsuccessful. Police believe the suspects fled on foot and then got into an awaiting vehicle in the area of Snake Meadow Road and Pond Hill Road.
The suspects are described as two white females. One that is between the ages 40-50, weighing approximately 170-190lbs and the other suspect is between the ages 20-30, weighing approximately 130-140lbs. The suspects were wearing hoodies and dark clothing.
