Hartford police investigate string of arsons

HARTFORD — City firefighters are dealing with a recurring problem. Fires being deliberately set — Wednesday night the latest fire sent two firemen to the hospital with injuries.

Police are looking for leads trying to figure out if the fires are connected.

The two firemen who were hurt on Hamilton street are recovering this morning– just some minor injuries.

Earlier this week a fire on Glendale Ave. in a multi-family house was ruled suspicious.

On March 31st, there was a fire on Bellevue street, thought to be the work of an arsonist.
