SOUTHINGTON- Firefighters responded to a shed fire at 8 Brookside Drive on Sunday afternoon.
According to the fire department, crews responded to the scene shortly after 4:30 p.m. Firefighters say the fire started in the shed and had extended to the siding of the mobile home, which received extensive damage.
Authorities say the home is still habitable and no residents have been displaced. Electrical service to the neighbor at 6 Brookside Drive had to be disconnected and are without power as of Sunday night.
Fire authorities cleared the scene shortly after 6pm. The Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.
