On Friday, April 10 State Police issued a silver alert for a 15-year-old for East Granby, who had gone missing.
On Wednesday, officers were able to track the missing girl to an apartment in Hartford, and found her with a registered sex offender.
Jonathan Gonzalez, 23, of Hartford was arrested and charged with violating his probation by having unsupervised contact with a minor. He is being held on a $1 million bond and more charges are expected to be filed.
Police say the girl told them she went with Gonzalez willingly. She wasn’t hurt, but she was evaluated at CCMC as a precaution.
