NEW HAVEN–Police have identified the victim in the daytime shooting on Tuesday as a suspect in a robbery.

Around 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday Shawn Little Jr., 25, had his forehead grazed by a bullet while in the center courtyard of the Farnham Court Public Housing Complex. He was taken to the hospital, and detectives met him there to interview him.

While Little was in the hospital the past few days, detectives completed their investigation into a robbery that occurred at that same apartment complex on April 5.

Little was released from the hospital and taken to the police department, where he’s being held on a $200,000 bond. Little is also a suspect in other serious crimes.

Meanwhile, Little’s suspect remains at large, but residents who live in the apartment complex and may have witnessed the crime have been helping police. If you have information call 203-946-6304.
