MADISON – A serious accident on Boston Post Road at the Hammonasset State Park entrance closed the road eastbound at Signal Hill Road around 4:45 p.m. It reopened about two hours later.
Two cars collided, injuring three people, though none of the injuries were life-threatening. It’s unclear what caused the accident, and police are continuing to investigate.
