WEST HAVEN – Police are currently investigating a Boston Post Road home invasion that happened Saturday night just before midnight.
Gun shots were fired outside the home, then home’s door was forced open and a man in his early 20s was struck with a hammer.
He was treated and released from an area hospital with a head injury.
Suspects are being tracked down and detectives are currently working this investigation.
