NEW BRITAIN - Community members gathered to start the city's Memorial Day events.
Area residents, Veterans, military members, and their families gathered at the Fairview Cemetery earlier tonight to pay tribute to all those who've served in the armed services.
The event also reminded the community about the real meaning behind Memorial Day.
