AVON – Police are investigating a bank robbery that happened just after 10:30 Saturday morning.
Police responded to a call at the Northwest Community Bank, 101 Simsbury Road, soon after an unknown man brandishing a black handgun entered the bank and robbed it.
Police believe he left the scene in a vehicle but no vehicle description has been provided.
