GUILFORD – A New York City man died when the pickup truck he was driving went off the highway onto the road below Wednesday morning.
Police said Kastriot Lulaj, 44 , of the Bronx, was driving a Ford Ranger pickup northbound on I-95 when the truck drove off of an overpass onto State Street around 5 a.m. Lulaj died at the scene. His passenger, Scott Phillips, 54 of Greenwich was injured in the crash and taken to Yale – New Haven Hospital.
Police are investigating the crash and are asking any witnesses to call Troop F at 860-399-2100.
