HARTFORD — Check your kids and check your pets! Connecticut ranks in the top five states across the U.S. this season for fleas and ticks, according to WebMD.
The site launched the Flea and Tick Map, an interactive map which displays U.S. flea and tick activity in real time, and offers state-by-state search capability.
Connecticut ranks #4 among the top states with the highest flea and tick activity. Prevalence of flea and tick activity is highest in the northeast and Midwest regions, with growing trends emerging in the Southwest.
