GREEN BAY, Wisc. -- A Wisconsin driver survived a scary crash on Monday and the whole thing was caught on camera. Josh Lamkin's car started hydroplaning on the Leo Frigo Bridge and he lost control.
"I hit the brakes as hard as I could," Lamkin said. "And I think that if I wouldn't have hit the brakes as hard as I could, I probably would have ended up over the side."
The car started bouncing higher and higher and then the back end of the car landed on the protective barrier, where it teetered.
"It just kept hitting and hitting and finally popped up on top of the girder," Lamkin said.
He was able to unbuckle his seat belt and get out of the car safely. The car wasn't badly damaged, it may only need new tires.
"Another foot and he would have overboard, Lamkin's girlfriend Alissa Jakopovich said, "so I'm just really thankful he's not."
Lamkin will not be ticketed for the crash.
He said he probably won't be going over the bridge any time soon.
