Researchers from Stanford found an interesting correlation that needs more study.

Certain heartburn medications have been related to an elevated risk of heart attacks.  The researchers found this by searching the medical records of about three million people, and they found that people who used proton pump inhibitors like Nexium, Prevacid and Prilosec were 16% to 21% more likely to have a heart attack.

Most people who live to at least 110 years old have one thing in common – they`re women.

According to researchers at Stanford University, 95% of the world`s oldest people are female.  We don’t know why for sure, but researchers said it could be because of estrogen.  One study found it increases the number of blood stem cells in female mice.  There`s also research from the Boston University school of medicine, which found that women who conceive children after the age of 33 have a higher chance of living longer than women who gave birth to their last child before turning 30.
