WETHERSFIELD – Firefighters responded to a hotel fire in Wethersfield Tuesday morning.
Crews from Rocky Hill and Wethersfield responded to the Comfort Inn Hotel on Silas Deane Highway around 5 a.m. Guests were forced out of their rooms as firefighters went through the halls of the hotel and knocked on doors to get people out of the building.
The fire was put out and everyone was allowed back inside just before 7:30 a.m.
No one was hurt. No word on what caused the fire.
