OLREANS, Mass. — A great white shark was sighted off the coast of Massachusetts for the first time this season.

The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy says the 15-foot female was about 100 feet away from the beach in Olreans, Massachusetts.

Experts say there is no need for beach-goers to panic because sharks are spotted off that beach every year.

About 80 were spotted in the water around Cape Cod last year.
