HARTFORD — Several towns have cancelled fireworks displays scheduled for Sunday due to rain, but not the towns of Hebron and Coventry, where fireworks will go on.
Officials in Thompson confirm the fireworks show there has been cancelled for Sunday.
The fireworks in Danbury were cancelled for Sunday, the city’s mayor announced.
A post from the Branford Fireworks page also says the show set for Sunday was cancelled.
Neither Danbury nor Branford have set a new date to reschedule the events.
Sunday was already the rain date for both towns. The shows were originally set for Saturday.
