UNCASVILLE - The Connecticut Sun have opened the WNBA season 7-2 and stand atop the Eastern Conference in first place which is a 180 from last season as they finished dead last in the conference at 13-21. Most surprising is that the Sun are with out Katie Douglas due to retirement and Chiney Ogwumike thanks to a season ending injury. But if you ask the players they are not surprised by the Sun's hot start to the season.
