Matt Dice, a media analyst and author who comments on “our celebrity-obsessed culture,” asked several people on the beach in San Diego what we are actually celebrating this holiday weekend. He asked questions like which country the U.S. declared independence from in 1776, who was just one of America’s founding fathers and more.
