HARTFORD — Hartford police say they arrested four people who robbed a package store and led officers on a high-speed chase into Newington and West Hartford.
Authorities say officers saw a man in a mask and another with a duffel bag leaving a South End package store Thursday night. The suspects fled in a car.
Police say officers chased the suspects through the South End and into Newington and West Hartford. Officials say the suspects’ car stopped in West Hartford and they were arrested.
Police lodged robbery and weapons charges against 22-year-old Nolan Evans, 23-year-old Traistyn George, 21-year-old Jose Montanez and a 14-year-old juvenile. All are from Hartford.
Evans, George and Montanez were detained on bail. It wasn’t immediately clear if they had lawyers who could comment on the allegations.
