HARTFORD – On Thursday, twelve people were arrested after police conducted an undercover narcotics operations in the area of the Sands Housing Complex on Main Street in response to recent shots-fired incidents and numerous resident complaints of illegal drug sales in that area.

In addition to 114 bags of heroin, police said they recovered two motorcycles stolen from Vermont, an ounce of marijuana and $514.

Arrested were:

-Justin Torres, 28, of Hartford, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass, possession of narcotics, possession with intent to supply narcotics and possession with intent to supply narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school zone.

-Pablo Nunez, 26, of Hartford, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and illegally tinted windows.

-Luis Davila, 56, of Hartford, was charged with possession of narcotics.

-Edward Rosado, 24, of Windsor, was charged with possession of narcotics, sale of narcotics, the sale of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school zone, first-degree criminal trespass and operating without a license.

-Angel Almodovar, 21, of Hartford, was charged with first-degree assault, possessing a pistol without a permit, reckless endangerment, risk of injury and unlawful discharge of firearm.

-Juan Estronza, 37, of Hartford, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass.

-Scott Williams, 37, of Hartford, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass.

-Lamel Brooks, 26, of Hartford, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass, possession of narcotics, possession with intent to supply narcotics and possession with intent to supply narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school zone.

-Willis Wright, 38, of Hartford, was charged with third-degree larceny and operating under suspension.

-Jose Rodriguez, 32, of Hartford, was charged with possession of a controlled substance of less than 4 ounces.

-Krzstof Tomkiel, 30, of Vernon, was charged with failure to maintain a traffic lane and possession of narcotics.

-Vincent Cain, 35, of Vernon, was charged with possession of narcotics.
