HARTFORD - The Immanuel Congregational Church hosted a picnic Sunday for the LGBT community to celebrate a recent Supreme Court decision.
Several families gathered for food, games and crafts to show support of the decision on marriage equality.
Reverend Kari Nicewander said the church has been waiting for the decision for a decade.
The Hartford Gay and Lesbian Health Collective was also at the picnic with an informational booth.
