PLAINVILLE - With the hot summer weather, many children set up lemonade stands across the state.

One young boy has bigger plans for this proceeds.

His annual lemonade stand for the Make-A-Wish Foundation helps children with serious medical conditions.

Nico sells lemonade and other summer treats at his stand in an effort to continue his mission to grant wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions.

His friend Matthew paid a visit to the stand today - he was able to get a prosthetic leg through the foundation and was still showing his appreciation.
