State police looking for Franklin armed robber

FRANKLIN – State police are on the lookout for a man who robbed a gas station at gunpoint.

According to police, an armed robbery occurred at the Mobil Station located at on Route 32 in Franklin at about 9:30 p.m.

Police say a man entered the store and robbed the clerk at gunpoint, then ran away north on Route 87.

He appeared to be a white man, approximately 5’10” and weighing around 170 lbs, wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, a dark-colored coat, a dark-colored mask, blue jeans and white gloves.

This case is currently under investigation and anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call Detective Bennett at 860-537-5456.
