HAMDEN – Police arrested a New York man who they believe caused $20,000 worth of damage to a home and two vehicles.

Police said between April and September of 2014, they were called to a Mill Rock Road home six times for vandalism including tires being slashed and paint being splashed on the house.

Thomas Folan, according to police, had spray-painted and smeared several colors of paint on all sides of the home, including a detached garage and patio. The homeowners suffered over $20,000.00 worth of damage during the six incidents.

Folan, 54 of Pittsford, NY, was taken into custody in Queens New York on Monday and waived extradition. He was  charged with Criminal Trespass, Criminal Mischief, and Stalking. Folan is being held on $100,000 bond, is scheduled to appear in court in Meriden on August 7th.
