WESTON – Police arrested a Bridgeport man in connection with a home invasion and burglary that happened in June.

Police said on June 5 they received a call that someone rang the bell at a home on Ten O’clock Lane. The woman who was home did not answer the door, but a short time later she heard glass and wood breaking from the back of the house.

The woman said the man who had rung the bell entered her home. He confronted her, forced her to the ground and restrained her.  The victim told police that the man took several pieces of jewelry before leaving. The woman suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Police arrested Dylan Garner, 42, of Bridgeport and charged him with Home Invasion, Larceny, Robbery, Unlawful Restraint and Assault. He was held on $250,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Thursday.
