HARTFORD - On Saturday morning, Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra held a campaign rally to explain why he should get re-elected and he also used the opportunity to call out his Democratic challenger.
Segarra spoke to supporters outside of his campaign headquarters on Farmington Avenue.
Also there was Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez of Brooklyn, who endorsed the incumbent mayor.
Segarra's main challenger, Luke Bronin, received the official nomination of the Democratic Party last week, but not before Segarra walked out of the meeting.
