MIDDLETOWN--Dozens of people gathered in on the South Green to pray for a miracle.

Family, friends, and Police are searching for 56-year-old Nina Coe. She was reported missing on July 16. Police say she was last seen in the middle of the afternoon when she returned from an appointment.

Middletown Police issued a silver alert for Coe.

"To us Nina Coe is a mom, a sister, an aunt, and a friend," said Allison Buikus, Coe's daughter, during the vigil. "Looking out at everyone I'm reminded that the human capacity to show strength and love is truly immeasurable. We will all get through this together."

Neighbors held candles, said a prayer and shared words.

Police describe Coe as 56 years old with brown hair. She is 5-foot-2, and weighs about 130 pounds. Police also say she wears glasses and has a tattoo on one leg.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Middletown Police at 860-638-4000.
