HARTFORD – Two car crashes caused traffic problems on Saturdaymorning.
Kevin Russell, 39, of Hebron Street, was traveling in the left lane of I-91 southbound, north of Exit 26, just before 3:30 a.m. when his Nissan Maxima drifted or began to change lanes into the center lane, state police said.
According to state ploce, his car hit the rear left tires of the tractor-trailer, which was in the center lane, and became airborne, hitting the left side of the truck’s cab. Russell’s car rolled over several times, and he was ejected.
Russell was taken to Hartford Hospital, state police said. The driver of the UPS truck, Daniel Mulrine, 44,of Hillsborough, NJ, was not injured.
