Glastonbury man killed in motorcycle crash in Portland’s Meshomasic State Forest

PORTLAND — A man was killed Saturday after an accident in the Meshomasic State Forest in Portland, Conn.

Eden Cook, 52, of Glastonbury, died in the crash, according to Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and Environmental Conservation Police.

Police said Cook was driving a motorcycle alone on Woodchoppers Road around 3 p.m. when he fell and hit his head on the road.

A passerby alerted police to the crash.
