HARTFORD — A man is under arrest after he got into an argument over a laptop, held a man against his will, and attacked him with a machete and a hammer, police said.

Police said the incident happened at 16 Evergreen Ave. in Hartford around 2 a.m. Sunday morning.

The victim had lacerations on his legs and wrist and a large bruise on his forehead, police said.

The man told police he was attacked with the hammer and machete during an argument about a computer.

The victim was taken to Saint Francis hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police arrested Anthony Wilson, 54, who lived at the home on Evergreen Ave. He is charged with assault, unlawful restraint, possession of narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officers said the incident is drug related.
