NEW LONDON–A young woman is in critical condition Wednesday evening after nearly drowning in a pool.
Around 4:41 p.m. police responded to the Ocean Beach Park pool area on reports that a Lobsang Dolma, 18, was near the deep end was unresponsive. Lifeguards saw her, and pulled her out and began conducting CPR.
Dolma was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition.
