COLCHESTER–Route 16 was closed for several hours after a bicyclist was hit by a car in Colchester.
The road was closed between Buckley Hill Road and Cabin Road, near Silver Meadow Drive.
LifeStar was called to the scene to transport the biker to the hospital. The victim suffered head injuries.
