BRISTOL – A man became combative with police officers, was arrested Thursday.
Police responded to a call at 187 West Morningside Dr. to investigate an assault around 7:20 p.m.
According to police, William Brown, 36, of Bristol, had assaulted a 41-year-old man when the victim refused to provide the suspect with a ride. They said Brown refused to cooperate during the arrest and physically assaulted the officers. Three officers had minor injuries.
Brown was charged with three counts of Assault on a Police Officer, Breach of Peace, Interfering with a Police Officer and Assault. He was held on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Friday.
