WETHERSFIELD–Police are searching for a car that left the scene of a hit-and-run on Monday night.
Just after 10 p.m. a pedestrian was struck on Maple Street, near the Wethersfield-Rocky Hill town line. The car left the scene, and police from nearby towns are searching for it.
Police say the suspect car may be a Chrysler or Dodge Neon, and the mirror on the passenger side is missing.
The victim’s injuries are described as serious.
