STRATFORD, Conn. — Northbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Connecticut were closed through the rush hour Monday morning as workers cleaned up after the crash of a tractor-trailer filled with eggs.
The truck caught fire, but no one was injured.
The highway backed up more than 6 mile Monday morning to exit 27 in Bridgeport. The accident occurred between exits 33 and 34 at the Stratford-Milford town lines.
The cause of the crash is being investigated.
