HARTFORD — Hartford police are investigating two shootings Tuesday morning.
The second shooting happened on Pershing Street, around 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
A 32-year-old man was shot in the head one time there, police said. Desmond Wright, 32, of Hartford was transported to St. Francis hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 8:36 a.m.
This marks the 24th homicide in Hartford this year.
Hartford Police are looking for witnesses as they gather details. Police have not released the victim’s identity.
No word if anyone is in custody in connection to the shooting.
