HARTFORD--Two separate shootings, two separate $1 million bonds for a man accused of shooting two people, including a Hartford pastor.

Aaron Taylor, 25, stood before a Hartford Superior Court judge, bruised and wincing at times.

Police said Taylor wouldn't go quietly when they caught him Thursday night in an East Hartford apartment on Jaidee Drive where there were two large handguns within his reach.

Taylor is accused of shooting Pastor Augustus Sealy, 56, over the Memorial Day weekend outside his church, First Church Of The Nazarene.

Taylor's capture came on the same day police announced a $5000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

"Same day, I don't understand that at all, you got something to say to a cop tell him," Edgar Brainard, a resident at the East Hartford apartment complex, said.

Both shooting victims survived.

Taylor is due back in court Sept. 25.
