Bristol man hurt in fall from rail bridge while he was riding quad

BRISTOL — A man is injured after falling off his quad on Friday night.

Police were called to the railroad tracks on Barlow Street around 9:30 where they discovered a man lying on the tracks.

According to police, Michael Blake, 41, of Bristol, was riding his quad eastbound on the tracks when he was thrown from the vehicle. Police said Blake fell 30 feet from the railroad trestle onto the tracks.

Life Star transported Blake to Hartford Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

Bristol Police are investigating the accident.
