HARTFORD - There have been 24 murders in Connecticut's capital city. Hartford has the most in New England - more than Boston, which is much bigger in population.

Stan talks Hartford’s out-of-control murder rate with his guest, Sgt. Steven Austin, of the Hartford Police Department's Special Operations Unit. He oversees the city’s “Longevity Project”, which reaches out to ex-offenders to present other options than living a life of crime. Stan talks to him about street violence that has become murderous.
