BRIDGEPORT -- Fire damaged a multi-family house in Bridgeport Wednesday morning leaving 21 people without a home. 12 adults and 9 kids are being cared for by the Red Cross after the fire destroyed their home.
Luckily, no one was hurt.
Bridgeport police said the fire started shortly before 7 a.m. on Berkshire Ave. on the second floor of the multi-family house.
Officials said there was heavy fire on all three floors. No word yet on what caused the fire.
