WEST HARTFORD–State police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a car on I-84 in West Hartford Wednesday night.
Troopers responded to the crash on the eastbound side of I-84 near exit 40 just before 8 p.m.
Authorities say the pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was transported to Saint Francis hospital.
The driver was not hurt and is cooperating with the investigation.
Police have not released the name of the victim.
