BRANFORD - Months after winning season 14 of American Idol, Fradiani Fever is still strong, especially in Branford. Nick Fradiani returned home to Connecticut Monday night to perform for a select group of fans and contest winners at Woodwinds.

However, the night wasn’t all about the tunes. Fradiani also wanted to update everyone on his big plans. “I know in Connecticut, I’ll always have that solid fan base, but, I’m working right now to make this a much larger thing,” said Fradiani.

To make that happen, he’s been singing non-stop since leaving the Idol stage, including a tour across the country, radio shows, performing during a few high-profile events and even releasing his first official music video for his song, “Beautiful Life.”

In addition to the singing, Fradiani says, he's doing a lot of writing because he desperately wants to get a new album produced. He’s even turned down a few big gigs to get it done. “They have me in all the writing sessions, so, I’m looking forward to the next single because that's the one personally, I think needs to be huge,” said Fradiani.

Despite his growing success Fradiani says, Connecticut will always be home, which is why he makes it a point to return home for these smaller performances.

The American Idol winner says, he’ll be back for the holidays, but that time will be spent with family.
