MANSFIELD–Police are investigating a fatal crash at the intersection of Route 195 and Baxter Road. A motorcycle and car collided.
Police said Richard Nielsen, 50, of Willington, died in the accident. The driver of the car, Katharine Capshaw, 56, of Vernon, was not injured.
Route 195 was closed between Baxtor Road and Dartmouth Road as police investigate and clear the scene. It has since reopened.
